Spring is certainly in the air, so it’s time to bring out the colour and have a little fun with our styling! After a long, cold winter where I found myself wearing predominantly black, grey and white, I am loving playing with some pops of colour for spring. I am predicting yellow is going to be a big colour for this upcoming season, it seems to be all over the runways at the moment!
For my first look I went all out with the colour, teaming a lilac blouse with a mustard leather skirt. I added black accessories to tone it down a little so I don’t start looking like a rainbow. Just in case I didn’t have enough colour in my outfit, I found the most beautiful little street with cobalt blue window shutters, which made me reminisce of warmer days in the beautiful streets of Santorini or Paris. Speaking of Paris, I recently discovered the French jewellery brand, Les Georgettes by Altesse. Now if you love a little customisation (or anything French) as much as I do, then you will love this brand! The concept behind the French made jewellery is that you get to customise your own jewellery to match your mood. You can choose your ring or bracelet design, metal finish and colour of the leather or perspex inner. The leather inners are two sided, making them perfect for mixing and matching, or the jewellery can even be worn without an inner for a more sleek look. You can check out the step-by-step customisation process here and see what design is your favourite.
I chose the bright gold Perroquet design for both my ring and bracelet. One of the leather straps I chose is khaki/fuchsia, which really give two complete different looks. The khaki is very subtle, and in my opinion khaki is such an underrated colour. It gives a beautiful, effortless look and goes with just about everything. The fuchsia on the other-hand is perfect for a bold, fun punch of colour.
I love how classy and elegant the Les Georgettes by Altesse jewellery is. The customisation element is a lot of fun, but also makes the pieces really versatile and I think they suit all ages. Since they are made in France, the quality is also top notch, because we all know that the French always do everything best!Head over to my Instagram to enter my competition to win a bracelet of your very own, so that you can enjoy the customising process first hand. Good luck! x
